fotoski: She was too short to see herself in the mirror while styling it. (Also, not my apartment or significant other)

fotoski: Actually shot that with the Hipstamatic app using a random film/lens combo.

Pardon my asking; but why is she standing on a step ladder to dry her hair?

I love the double-exposure effect: I assume it was done in PhotoShop™. The mirror-like quality of branches is hypnotic. The pastel tones in the background and the criss-crossing limbs give a lot to look at and get lost in. The patterns and subtle colors are very beautiful; like falling down the rabbit hole.

this and the other b/w portraits that came in with it are really nice.

fotoski: Yeah, I’m starting to dig through some of my random off the wall iPhone stuff. Thanks!

fotoski: Ha! You make a good point. Believe it or not someone actually bought this print from me once.

Shot this a month or so ago. That’s the one thing about showing what images have been entered into the combine. Later entrants can decide what they want to compete against. While yours is stronger I had to throw mine into the mix for giggles.

I love this picture of Charlie. She looks so aware, as if she is looking through the viewer. It feels very Dorothy Parker.

Thanks everyone!
